Chapter Five: The Time is 15:52
After a full year on the Bentley Continental GT wheels and a change of personal circumstances, it was time for Dory to have a change too. It was time to go back to old-skool performance Vauxhall routes and nothing said that better than the classic motorsport style of the Fifteen52 Tarmac's in 19" and 8.5J! Little did I know this wheel choice would set Dory on a new path, heading down a more performance driven design and build.
I went over to Wales to collect the wheels, as I particularly wanted them in the Anthracite - that was an epic road trip in itself! The wheels were previously on a bagged VW Golf, so had PCD of 5x112. With the wobble bolts and some spigot rings I was able to have them on Dory fitting perfectly. These are only 8.5J, but still with a 215/35/19 tyre there's a small amount of stretch and they sit in the arches perfectly.
However, things would take a bit of a turn when my sister was diagnosed with Cancer and the priority became to spend time with my family and partner. I didn't attend any shows or events in 2018, but Dory still had plenty of use during the spring, summer and autumn months including trips to visit Helen - my sister - in Hospital, which leads us onto the next chapter!
