Chapter Three : #TheBENTLEYBus

After the end of the 2016 season, it was very clear that Dory needed something to set the car apart from all the other Zafira GSI's out there. The Snowflakes were a great set of wheels, but this wasn't your average people carrier so an average set of OEM Vauxhall wheels just wasn't going to cut it!
An interesting concept putting a set of Bentley Continental GT wheels on a Zafira GSI, they were the wrong PCD, Offset and Centre Bore - but that's what being modified is all about!

After a bit of research and some test fitting, it actually turned out that the offset was going to work perfectly with a bit of stretch on the tyres and wobble bolts would solve the 5x112 PCD on the wheels to 5x110 PCD on the car. The main hurdle was the centre bore of the wheels being too small to fit over the Vauxhall hub, luckily I was able to find a local engineering firm who would work the inside of the wheels for me, altering the centre bore to the correct size needed whilst not doing any damage and keeping the integrity perfectly in tact.

The wheels had previously been owned by a local enthusiast who was glad to see them go to an interesting new home!
Wrapped in Nankang NS20's the wheels were fitted in time for the start of the 2017 show seasons, where Dory would do a full circuit of the shows with the local car club as well as Show & Shine and Trade Stands.
